Maintenance reserves

For each hectare sold, the maintenance funds for the complete term of the contract will need to be reserved on a designated, protected bank account. The term of the contract can vary anywhere from 12 through 25 years.

year 6 untill the last year	$ 300 / ha.

These maintenance funds are transferred to the maintenance company after the maintenance work of the previous year has been inspected and approved.

Service fees

Apart from the maintenance reserves, there are a number of compensations that need to be paid to EcoSafe to enable inspection, organization and information provisions.

Fixed fee

Regardless of the number of hectares sold, a fixed annual fee of $5000 is billed.

The fixed fee for the last two year has to be payed at the same time as the fixed fee for the first year, at the start of the contract.

Location fee

The location fee starts at $500 per year. For each extra plantation location at more than an hour driving distance this amount is raised by $500. If a location is situated at over three hour driving distance, the location fee is raised by $1000 instead.

The location fee for the last two year is payed at the start of the contract, together with the location fee for the first year.

Variable fee

Dependent on the number of hectares sold, each year the following fees per hectare sold are billed to the plantation company.

For the first 250 hectares:	$15 per hectare per year.
For the 251nd untill the 500st hectare:	$10 per hectare per year.
From the 500st hectare:	$5 per hectare per year.

For every hectare sold, the variable fee has to be payed at once for the entirety of the contract's term.
